Kryoröhrchen 3,0 ml, Außengewinde, freistehend, graduiert, Durchmesser: 12.5 mm, Höhe: 71 mm, steril, 100 Stk./Pack Designed for safe, ultra-low temperature storage, of biological material, human or animal cells, Alpha has three ranges of CE marked cryogenic storage vials. All products in this range are certified free from RNase, DNase, pyrogens and DNA. Alpha Laboratories’ cryogenic vials come in either free-standing or round-bottom base designs. All types have an internal rounded base for easy recovery of samples. Strong vial and cap – a special grade of polypropylene, chosen for its consistent strength, is used to make all our vials. As a result, both vial and cap can withstand the harsh -196C temperature of vapour phase liquid nitrogen, and the thick wall makes the vial almost unbreakable. Please note that they are not designed for use in the liquid phase. Secure seal – the cap and tube are made from the same material so with temperature change, they shrink and expand in unison ensuring an equally secure seal both at room temperature and at low cryogenic temperatures. Fast opening/closing – 1 ¼ turns is all that is required to close the cap securely. This is important when large quantities of vials are being used because it saves time and means there is less chance of the cap not being closed securely. Simple one-handed operation – all free-standing vials, when used with a workstation (LW3400B or LW3400R), enable you to unscrew vials with one hand. Vertical ribs facilitate cap removal Clear graduations – at 100?l intervals to facilitate reading of your sample volume. Large white marking area – for sample labelling and identification. Tubes can be colour coded with a cap insert (LW3339 range) and are compatible with most storage systems. Cap inserts are available in 11 different colours. Cap inserts are not compatible with LW3439. Round bottom vials only can be centrifuged, at up to 17,000g. Sterile – all vials are gamma irradiated to ensure absolute sterility. Ultimate security range Externally Threaded with Flange/Washer Combination Each Ultimate Security vial has a silicone sealing washer compressed on all four of its sides, combined with an internal flange that secures the seal and reduces the risk of contaminating the cap. This unique combination provides the highest level of security for your most precious samples.
